NGAMBA ISLAND CHIMPANZEE SANCTUARY
A short documentary produced for the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary located on Lake Victoria in Uganda. The sanctuary was established in 1998 to care for rescued chimpanzees, educate the general public to the plight of chimpanzees, and assist members of the local island communities.
A feature length documentary about my grandfather. Grandpa Bernie grew up in the Hebrew Orphan Asylum in New York City and later returned to the same institution as a professional social worker. Amidst professional success, Bernie suffered through the premature loss of loved ones, yet moved forward to create new relationships with a contagious enthusiasm that lasted almost ninety-seven years.
